Overhead steel gantries carrying the free-flow tolling equipment and technology have been installed on the motorways. These allow motorists to travel safely through toll points without having to merge or stop to pay the toll in the free-flow environment.
The new free-flow tolling system is now in operation and tolls will be calculated either electronically (go viatag) or by video tolling (go viavideo account or go viavideo pass).
Motorists are now travelling on an open motorway.
