By implementing a recycling program at our office buildings, we are contributing to a reduction in tree felling, ozone depletion and waste going to landfill.
Along the Logan Motorway we have revegetated construction areas with a native seed mix, consisting of a variety of seed species prevalent in the local area. We also have critter catchments and tunnels along the motorway to ensure that any animals wandering past the motorways will not get onto the roads. If captured, the animals are set free in close proximity, but within a safe distance away from the motorway, to where they were found.
During construction of the Gateway Upgrade Project there is an environmental management plan in place to protect our flora, fauna, and to ensure minimal impact on the environment.
